Spedeworth / Incarace would like to pass on our sincerest condolences to the family of Karl (Chops) Williams who we have heard this afternoon has passed away.

Known as ‘Chops’ to his friends, Karl has been a member of the Ipswich team and Orange Army for many years and was a character which will be sadly missed.

Chops was always with us at Foxhall Stadium rain or shine helping do any job which needed doing big or small.

Only last weekend at Spedeweekend Chops was running around the infield helping turn the meeting around in quick time whilst keeping everyone smiling along the way.

If you needed any help Chops would be there and although he has passed away his spirit will be making us laugh and joke with memories for years to come.
