Congratulations to National Banger driver 158 Shane Davies who secured his place on the grid for the National Banger World Final at Ipswich on 15th October 2011 by winning the Wild Card at Hednesford on 20th March.

Shane beat a field of 45 cars by scoring the most points on the day, taking 2nd place in both heats before winning the Final after a good battle with 18 Rob Speak who was also in contention for the world spot. The meeting also saw some good crashing between the Barton Boys and Stinkbridge teams which provided some lively action.

Also best wishes for a speedy recovery to 730 Deane Mayes who fractured his sternum after a fencing by 555 Ben Williams - hopefully it won't be too long before we see Deane back on the tracks.
