Following conclusion of the post-meeting checks and investigations we are pleased to confirm that the result of the DB Mechanical Services Rookie Rod Supreme Championship stands as given on the night - congratulations to 212 John Smith who is the Supreme Champion, with 747 Matt Farren, 69 Tony Perfect and 14 Perry Osborne-Brown the placemen.

We would like to extend our thanks to the top 4 for their time and patience - all the top 4 had their engines, gearboxes and diffs stripped right down on Tuesday night at Spedeworth HQ. Each of the drivers checked each others' spec to ensure fairness.

There have recently been some suggestions of drivers breaking the rules so we are delighted to have found nothing wrong with the top 4.

Our thanks again go to our generous sponsor Daniel Bennett at DB Mechanical Services who supplied a fantastic car (pictured) for the Supreme Championship winner, so John Smith will soon be taking delivery of the car!
