Rule Amendment for All Junior Classes, 1600cc Bangers, Ladies Bangers & ‘Back To Basic’ Bangers
Effective from Friday 17th April 2026 all inner steering wheels must be filled in. This may be done with Perspex and cable tied to the wheel or the steering wheel taped up. This has to be done due to the amount of drivers who have recently had arm or wrist injuries. Our sole purpose is to ensure everyone can go to school / work after racing.
In addition to the above the following update is for the Banger classes (1600cc, Back to Basics & Ladies).
Roll bar must be bolted in at the roof and floor with washers on the exterior of at least 100x100mm and not welled into the car at any point and must not protrude outside of the cars internal space.
End plates of the roll cage must be bolted through the B pillar on the passenger side. On the drivers side it must go through the B pillar or the drivers door plate.
